- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli, salt, and pepper, sauté until tender, about 3 minutes. Let cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread cooled broccoli evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Roll up the pastry tightly from the long side to form a log.
- Slice into 1-inch thick rounds and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

- You can replace cheddar with mozzarella or pepper jack for variation.
- Best served warm with a dipping sauce or alongside fresh fruit.
