Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli, salt, and pepper, sauté until tender, about 3 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Spread cooled broccoli evenly over the pastry.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Roll up the pastry tightly from the long side to form a log.
  7. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
