- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Form the mixture into small balls or puffs and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs. Place flour and bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes.
- Dip each puff into the eggs, then coat with flour, followed by bread crumbs.
- Place puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or chopped herbs. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
