- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 chicken breasts, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz cooked pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring continuously. Bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Perfect served with a side of garlic bread and a fresh salad.
