- 1 pound Italian sausage links, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook Italian sausage slices over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add cooked sausage back into the pot, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use fresh Parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust cream for desired thickness.
