- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
- Spoon batter into the donut pan cavities, filling 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly and dust with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute maple syrup for sugar for a richer flavor.
- Enjoy with a cup of warm coffee or tea.
