- 6 croissants, torn into pieces
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
- Arrange torn croissants in the baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissants and chocolate.
- Let sit for 10 minutes to soak.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dollop of whipped cream or fresh berries on top.
- Can be made a day ahead and baked fresh in the morning.
