- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces into the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix bourbon, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Mix cornstarch and water to make slurry, add to crock pot, and cook for 15 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by increasing honey if desired.
- Serve over rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
