  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Fresh fruits (berries, kiwi, mango, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw a 9-inch circle as a guide.
  2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in vanilla, vinegar, and cornstarch.
  4. Spread the meringue mixture onto the parchment in the shape of the circle, smoothing the top and sides.
  5. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the meringue cool inside.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  7. Just before serving, top the cooled meringue with whipped cream and arrange fresh fruits on top.
