- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is tender.
- Optional: Mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Serve over rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
