Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds beef sirloin or top round, sliced into strips
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place sliced beef in the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced peppers and onions on top.
  3. Mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, and black pepper. Pour over ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  5. Optional: Mix cornstarch with water and add to thicken gravy in the last 30 minutes.
