Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Form small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, flattening slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges.
- Let cool on wire racks before serving.

- For a decorative touch, sprinkle powdered sugar after baking.
