Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (12 oz) refrigerated croissant dough
- 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the baking sheet, with pointed ends facing inward, overlapping slightly.
- In a bowl, mix chopped turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
- Spoon the mixture evenly onto the center of the dough, spreading it out within the circle.
- Lift the pointed ends of the dough triangles and fold them over the filling, tucking them under the ring to seal.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked chicken or omit cheese for a lighter option.
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the filling.
