- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
- 1 pack frozen Tater Tots (about 32 oz)

- Optional: diced green onions, bacon bits, or chopped jalapeños for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook until translucent. Add ground beef or turkey, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly into a baking dish. Pour the cream of mushroom or chicken soup over the meat, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Arrange the frozen Tater Tots in a single layer on top of the mixture, covering the entire surface for maximum crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until Tater Tots are golden brown and crispy. For extra crunch, broil for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
