Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup whiskey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brown on both sides until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Deglaze the pan with whiskey, scraping up browned bits. Reduce by half.
  5. Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
