- 20 frozen or homemade gyoza dumplings
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Optional: sliced mushrooms, bok choy, or spinach for added greens
Instructions
- Heat broth in a large pot over medium heat, add soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, and bring to a simmer.
- Add dumplings to the broth and cook until they are tender and floating, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in sesame oil and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and additional toppings if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use store-bought frozen gyoza for convenience, or make your own for extra flavor.
- Vegetarian version can be made with vegetable broth and vegetable dumplings.
- For spicier broth, add a splash of chili oil.
