- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks.

- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or sea salt on top before baking.
