  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks.
