- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- White chocolate for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and mix well. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut heart-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool completely.
- Heat heavy cream until just boiling, pour over chopped dark chocolate, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
- Spread ganache onto the cooled cookies and let set. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the ganache cookies.
