- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups of cooked pulled beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add pulled beef, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Cut puff pastry into 4 equal squares. Spoon beef mixture onto the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle or rectangle; press edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve warm.
Notes
- Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
