A moist, buttery, and sweet pull-apart bread coated in caramel glaze, easily made at home with minimal ingredients, perfect for sharing.

  • Total Time: 2 hours
  • Yield: 8-10 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a warm milk, dissolve yeast and a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, salt, melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Grease a bundt pan and evenly sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into small balls. Roll each into the cinnamon-sugar and place into the pan, layering as you go.
  6. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes until puffed up.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, drizzle with caramel sauce, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Ensure milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast.
  • For extra gooeyness, add more caramel sauce on top before serving.
