Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- In a warm milk, dissolve yeast and a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, salt, melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Grease a bundt pan and evenly sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the bottom.
- Punch down the dough and divide into small balls. Roll each into the cinnamon-sugar and place into the pan, layering as you go.
- Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes until puffed up.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with caramel sauce, and serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast.
- For extra gooeyness, add more caramel sauce on top before serving.
