- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 package pre-made puff pastry or pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or mini tart pans.
- In a bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Set aside.
- Cut pastry into small rounds slightly larger than muffin cups or tart pans.
- Press pastry rounds into the cups, filling with apple mixture.
- Brush edges with beaten egg and top with another pastry round or crimp edges.
- Brush top with egg wash and cut small slits for venting.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.

- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for extra delight.
