These mini apple pies are a delightful treat featuring tender apple filling wrapped in flaky, golden crusts. Perfect for parties, gatherings, or a cozy dessert at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 package pre-made puff pastry or pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or mini tart pans.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. Cut pastry into small rounds slightly larger than muffin cups or tart pans.
  4. Press pastry rounds into the cups, filling with apple mixture.
  5. Brush edges with beaten egg and top with another pastry round or crimp edges.
  6. Brush top with egg wash and cut small slits for venting.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
