Devour-Worthy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a flavor sensation combining tender chicken, gooey melted cheese, and aromatic garlic in soft tortillas. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or entertaining guests, these wraps are easy to prepare and packed with irresistible flavors, making every bite a delight.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by heating the butter or olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well coated with garlic flavor.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat and spread a small amount of the garlic butter on it. Place a generous portion of the cheesy garlic chicken mixture in the center. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and optional fresh herbs.
  4. Roll up the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides. For extra crispy wraps, place them in a hot skillet or panini press and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for the best melting quality.
  • Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness.
  • Customize the fillings with your favorite vegetables or sauces.
  • Toast in a skillet until golden brown for an extra crispy wrap.
