- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 1/2 cup cooked ham, chopped
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- Place the pie crust in a quiche or tart pan, and prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add cheese, ham, and spinach to the egg mixture.
- Pour the filling into the crust-lined pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crustless version, skip the pie crust and pour the filling directly into a greased baking dish. Feel free to add other vegetables or herbs for variation.
